Privacy & cookies

Ce l’ho! is a free game with no registration. It does not ask for names, written answers, microphone access or camera access. Challenges are generated in your browser.
Who runs the site
The data controller is Giulia Sermoneta. For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, use the contact details published on Giulia Sermoneta’s personal website.
Data needed to run the site
When you visit, the hosting and security infrastructure (OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare) processes technical connection data, including IP addresses and request information, to serve pages and protect against abuse. Technical security cookies may be used. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in providing a working and secure website.
We store your cookie choice, its date and the notice version in your browser for 180 days. This local storage is needed to respect your preference without asking on every visit. We also store your chosen language locally until you change it or clear browser storage. This preference is not sent to an analytics service. When you next open the home page, your explicit language choice is respected. You can switch languages at any time.
Optional Google Analytics statistics
Only after you select “Accept” do we load Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure visits, pages viewed and site usage. The service may collect online identifiers, device and browser information, visit sources and navigation events. The legal basis is your consent. You can refuse or withdraw it without affecting the game.
Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the site tag. Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_WH9WWZRXKX are configured for a maximum of 180 days, with no automatic renewal on each visit. Data retention on Google’s systems depends on the Analytics property settings and service rules; cookie lifetime is not the same as retention of data already collected.
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in its documentation. See Google’s privacy policy and its information about data from partner sites.
Accept, reject or change your mind
Before you choose, or when you reject cookies, the site does not load Google Analytics. Reopen your preferences below or through the footer on any page. Withdrawing consent stops further collection and removes Analytics cookies accessible to the site. It does not undo previous processing. You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. You may complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority. Requests about data associated with online identifiers may require information to locate those identifiers.
